Windows 8 Download Problem

There is a problem that most of us face while downloading the Windows 8 licensed version. The problem I faced when running the Windows8 - Setup file is, I got an error message in the blue screen stating that the download task did not complete at 0%. The error displayed was "Unspecified error".

The solution to this problem is that you need to delete the WebSetup folder from the C:\Users\YourUsername\AppData\Local\Microsoft folder. Follow these steps if the WebSetup folder is invisible:

1. Choose Start - > Computer.
2. In the top left corner, click Organize and select Folder and Search Options.
3. In the Folder Options dialog box, select the View tab.
4. Select the Show hidden files, folders, and drives option.
5. Click OK.
6. Navigate to C:\Users\YourUsername\AppData\Local\Microsoft folder.
7. Delete the WebSetup folder.

Now, run the Windows8 - Setup file to download and install Windows 8.
